Semple Fraser appoints new corporate partner
Bill Fowler has recently joined Semple Fraser as a Partner in the Corporate team.
Bill joins the firm's Edinburgh office with over 12 years experience in Corporate law. He brings with him particular experience in transactional work (including mergers and acquisitions, banking, venture capital and joint venture transactions) and insolvency/corporate recovery. Bill has also spent time as in-house legal counsel in an opto-electronics company where he dealt with fund raisings, acquisitions and general contractual matters.
A former Scottish Sailing Squad member, Bill thrives on team-work and is looking forward to working alongside Semple Fraser’s five current Corporate Partners on a client list that includes Bank of Scotland, Braveheart Ventures Limited, The Glenmorangie Company Limited, Kenmore Property Group, Eden Springs UK Ltd, Eastlake Group and Toni & Guy.
Semple Fraser’s corporate team now has a significant market presence in both Edinburgh and Glasgow comprising 6 partners and 11 other fee earners. Within the corporate team there are specialists in Banking/Finance, M&A, joint ventures, corporate recovery, intellectual property, capital projects and project finance.
