Disabled Persons' Parking Places (Scotland) Bill
The Disabled Persons’ Parking Places (Scotland) Bill is a Members' Bill, introduced by Jackie Baillie MSP on 2 June 2008.
The aim of the Bill is to make disabled persons’ parking places legally enforceable, preventing the misuse of such parking places by those not entitled to use them. We're monitoring the progress of the Bill and will post news of significant amendments and the eventual outcome of the parliamentary process.
In the meantime our planning experts have issued a briefing note summarising the main points of the Bill and its implications for landowners and occupiers.
