Semple Fraser receives environmental specialist accreditation

Vincent Brown, Head of the Environment & Pollution Group, and Barry Love, an Associate within the same Group, have both recently been recognised as Accredited Specialists in Environmental Law by the Law Society of Scotland.

Vincent and Barry have considerable experience in EU environment legislation and Semple Fraser is the only Scottish law firm to be appointed to the panel of environmental law specialists retained by the European Commission. The group is active on transnational and EU advisory work from the Mediterranean to the Baltic for both EU institutions and multinational businesses such as Marathon Oil UK Ltd, OSS Group, URS Corporation and WWF-UK.

Semple Fraser’s Environment and Pollution Group are again ranked in the top tier by the Legal 500 who described Vincent Brown as “first class” and “whose depth of knowledge is second to none”.

There are currently no other accredited environmental specialists in private practice in Scotland.
