Hazledene Group begins work on new £75m development
Semple Fraser have recently acted for Scottish property group, Hazledene, on a new £75 million development in Aberdeen.
The development, located on a 1.5-acre site on Justice Mill Lane, just off Union Street, will include 120,000sq ft of grade A commercial office space, as well as a 100,000sq ft, 185-room hotel, which is to be operated by the Rezidor Hotel Group.
The development is due for completion in the second quarter of 2010.
One of the key features of the prime site office accommodation is its pioneering eco-friendly design. The low-energy air conditioning system utilises fresh air which is supplied to the offices at a constant temperature of 19oC with four air changes per hour making it 40% more energy-efficient than conventional systems and providing a pleasant and healthy indoor environment.
