14th European Biosolids and Organic Resources Conference
Vincent Brown, Head of Waste, Renewables & Energy at Semple Fraser, will be speaking at the upcoming European Biosolids and Organic Resources Conference on 9 – 11 November 2009 in Leeds.
The conference is Europe's foremost for the biosolids and biowaste industries. This year, it will focus on the move away from the idea of wastewater treatment followed by disposal, towards a more sustainable resource recovery followed by re-use. The importance of all forms of organic wastes as sources of energy and nutrients is increasingly recognised, and this is reflected in the programme for this 14th Conference with well over half of the sessions involving resource recovery in some form or another.
Vincent will be partnering with William Firth of Sustainable Resource Solutions to present on ’Achieving a legal classification as non-waste for sewage sludge waste streams’.
