Semple Fraser promotes specialist

Leading law firm Semple Fraser announces the promotion of one of their senior solicitors, Marc Armstrong as an Associate in the firm.

Marc began a specialist litigation traineeship with Semple Fraser in 2004.  Upon qualifying he has handled a broad cross-section of commercial litigation and property litigation and has worked on a diverse range of important cases for many of the firm's clients including Tesco Stores Ltd, MWB Argyle Street Ltd, Zurich Assurance Ltd, and Threadneedle Pensions Ltd.

Marc regularly deals with cases in the commercial courts at the Court of Session and central belt Sheriff Courts.

A dual qualified lawyer in both English and Scots law, Marc often advises clients south of the border.  He also has a particular specialism in licensing and advises The Glenmorangie Company Ltd on their licensing agreements.

The past 12 months have been a particularly busy year for the firm’s litigation practice.  Semple Fraser also remains committed to providing clients with expert access to alternative means of dispute resolution – in particular mediation – now with 4 trained mediators in the Group.
