Barry McKeown joins top ranked Property Group
Semple Fraser announces the appointment of Barry McKeown as Partner in the firm’s top ranked commercial property group.
In addition to working at a number of Scotland’s top law firms for the past 12 years, Barry has more recently focused his expertise working in-house for renowned housebuilder and property developer, Manorlane Limited. His in-house commercial experience in a client role has allowed him to work alongside commercial practitioners, developing a better understanding of the real needs and issues faced by those in the property industry today.
Barry has experience working with and advising developers and housebuilders in both commercial and residential property and has also extensive experience dealing with banks advising on property finance issues.

Barry has over 12 years experience in the legal profession. He has worked at a number of the leading Scottish law firms, and was previously a partner in DLA’s Real Estate Team before moving to Manorlane Limited where he was the Land Director and Legal Director.
