Scotch Malt Whisky Society teams up with Hotel Du Vin
Semple Fraser have been working with the Scotch Malt Whisky Society to allow them to set up a series of specialist whisky rooms within a number of the Hotel du Vin hotels operated by the Malmaison and Hotel du Vin Group.
A pilot scheme will operate in 3 hotels for 6 months, allowing hotel guests to sample Society whisky in the hotels instead of, as at present, only in the Society's members' rooms in Edinburgh and London.
Aberdeen's Malmaison, Birmingham's Hotel du Vin and Brighton's Hotel du Vin will all have a special Society snug – the 'Whisky Snuggle'; dedicated lounge and bar areas where Society members and hotel guests can discover a range of Society bottlings.
