Tesco Personal Finance take first phase of IVG's new office scheme in central Glasgow
Semple Fraser recently advised Tesco Personal Finance on a deal to take all of the first phase of IVG's new office scheme in central Glasgow. Tesco are taking a 20 year lease on the 155,000 sq ft Broadway One development in Renfield Street, Glasgow, in one of the biggest office deals in Glasgow.
Tesco is creating more than 800 jobs in Scotland by opening a new customer service centre there.
Last year in another deal that Semple Fraser advised on, Tesco Personal Finance, which was established in 1997, took 47,000 sq ft at Interpoint at Haymarket Yards next to Edinburgh's Haymarket railway station. The supermarket group plans to open bank branches in 30 stores this year.
Semple Fraser has acted for Tesco Stores Ltd for over 13 years and act as sole Scottish legal service providers to Tesco’s acquisition team in Scotland, as well as providing legal services in the north of England.
