Advised workplace interiors and services company Eastlake Group on its £8m merger with Work Inc., previously its biggest competitor in the UK market, to form Eastlake Work Group. The deal was backed by Eastlake's existing bankers, Royal Bank of Scotland.

 

The merged group is projecting turnover this year of £75m and will employ more than 500 staff all over the UK.

 

Semple Fraser advised on all aspects of the merger, including the creation of the new group structure and the acquisition of the Work Inc. group companies into the new structure.  Semple Fraser has assisted Eastlake with other acquisitions in Northern Ireland and England in the past three years as it has sought to extend its operations throughout the UK.
