Business Homes-CALA sell 7 office pavillions
Advised Business Homes-CALA on the sale of 7 office pavilions for a total price in excess of £4.4m. The offices were sold to a mixture of owner occupiers and property investors in Dunfermline, Livingston and Aberdeen. Semple Fraser advised all aspects of the deal from site acquisition and construction of the various Business Parks through to the sale of the individual pavilions.
Business Homes-CALA, a joint venture between CALA Properties and Business Homes, specialises in developing small business accommodation from 1250 to 6000 sq ft, importantly with their 'own front door'. The credit crunch uncertainties are failing to scare small business owners in Scotland from buying their office premises according to Business Homes CALA managing director James Houlston who says "the appetite for purchase is strong across business parks in Aberdeen, Dunfermline, Edinburgh, East Kilbride and Glasgow".
Semple Fraser are also currently advising the joint venture operation on the development of a purpose built office near Dunfermline for the SSPCA.
