TBF and KL Thompson Trust acquire Building One, Pacific Quay, Glasgow
Semple Fraser acted for The Trustees of The TBF and KL Thompson Trust in acquiring Building One, Pacific Quay, Glasgow.
The TBF and KL Thompson Trust acquired the property from Balmoral Limited in February 2010. Building One was the first building to be developed on the waterfront at Pacific Quay and is currently leased to the Scottish Ministers, occupied at present by Disclosure Scotland, under a 25 year lease.
Semple Fraser advised on all Property, Planning and Environmental aspects of the transaction. This is the third significant acquisition for the Trust in which Semple Fraser have acted, purchasing property at Stirling Road, Dunblane occupied by Marks and Spencer Simply Foods Limited under a 20 year lease in December 2008 and property in Nottingham Business Park occupied by the Secretary of State for Transport under a 25 year lease in June 2005.
