Semple Fraser promotes specialists
Semple Fraser announces the promotion of six senior Assistants to Associates as the firm continues to thrive, growing its business across the UK.
Jennifer Antonelli, Morven Badger, Iain Barton, Kirsteen Milne, Keith Simpson and Claire Slinger are specialist lawyers in diverse fields whose technical competence allied to business acumen has marked them out for promotion.
Jennifer Antonelli, a specialist in insolvency and corporate recovery, has been with the firm since she her traineeship. She advises a range of clients from banks and accountants in their role as insolvency practitioners, to companies, private individuals and government departments.
Iain Barton is an employment lawyer who undertakes work of both a non-contentious and contentious nature ranging from drafting contracts, service agreements and handbooks to advising on complex TUPE issues and conducting employment tribunals north and south of the border.
Kirsteen Milne joined the firm as a Trainee in the construction group and now advises developers and consultants on all aspects of construction work, both contentious and non contentious, as well as often presenting to industry on key issues such as Health & Safety. Kirsteen acts for a number of the firms key clients including Business Homes and the Unite Group plc.
Morven Badger joined the firm as a trainee in the commercial property group. She acts for a number of large retail clients and is heavily involved in advising clients on shopping centre management – an area where Semple Fraser specialise (the firm has advised on over £3bn of shopping centre and retail assets to date).
Claire Slinger is one of a number of English qualified lawyers choosing to progress their career at Semple Fraser due to their UK client base. Claire advises a number of the firm’s commercial property clients, including Tesco Stores Ltd, as well as acting on cross border and English funding transactions.
Keith Simpson, also in the commercial property group, is an expert property lawyer and advises clients such as Threadneedle and Kintyre Investments on property transactions.
