Director

Charlotte Johns is a Director and Head of the Employment Group.  She is a dual qualified solicitor and barrister, has specialised in employment law for 12 years and works with organisations to ensure they are compliant with current legislation and established best practice.

She advises clients on all areas of employment law including contracts and handbooks, change management, TUPE, redundancy consultation, corporate support, unfair dismissal, discrimination issues, equal pay, senior appointments, termination packages and disciplinary and grievance procedures.

Charlotte understands the pressures that HR professionals find themselves under in today’s economic climate and she provides them with practical advice and consultancy as well as regularly providing training to both public and private sector clients.  She has recently developed a new online training tool for clients, focusing on Equal Opportunities.

With sound experience of troubleshooting and dealing with unusual circumstances within the employment context (both the Scottish and English jurisdictions), including tribunal advocacy, Charlotte has a particular expertise in helping clients resolve employment disputes.

A Director is an internal senior promoted post but is not a member or partner of the LLP.
