David Jamieson

IT Manager

David Jamieson has 20 years' experience in IT, working as a consultant to the firm before joining Semple Fraser in 1997.

David specialises in systems development and is responsible for all in-house technical development at the firm.  He developed Clarisys, an industry leading electronic document management system for the firm.  Clarisys provides paperless file operation across the firm and helps us to deliver a highly responsive service by storing all documentation and financial information relating to a transaction digitally.  We are currently storing over 3 million documents on the system.  Any lawyer working on a matter for a client is able to access every document relating to that matter, be it an electronic or hard copy document, at any point in time.

David has also developed our online deals room (which allows third parties to access, download and upload key documents relating to a transaction), our transaction management system, our plot sales system and our internal CRM systems.
