Director

Douglas Gourlay is qualified in both Scots and English law and is a Director in the firm’s Banking team.

He has many years' experience of property finance, project finance and general banking law, having worked on a range of high-profile property and project finance deals across the UK.  These have ranged through property investment and development, infrastructure, urban regeneration and capital projects as well as involvement in securitisation and restructuring.

Douglas continues to advise banks and other financial institutions on all types of general banking, syndicated loan and property finance transactions and has extensive experience of funding complex tax-driven structures.  He is also involved in working on loan and security restructuring as well as security diligence and enforcement.

A Director is an internal senior promoted post but is not a member or partner of the LLP.
