Gordon Hollerin leads our Corporate Recovery and Insolvency Group and has over 25 years' experience in this sector.  He joined Semple Fraser in April 2008 having previously headed up DLA Piper’s Litigation, Insolvency and Regulatory Group in Scotland.  He is consistently rated by The Legal 500 and Chambers Directories as one of the leading corporate recovery lawyers in Scotland and advises banks and financial institutions, administrators, receivers and liquidators in large scale restructuring and insolvency assignments and ensuing disputes.

Gordon is also an experienced Commercial Mediator and lectures on ADR to LLM students at the University of Strathclyde.  He has on two occasions successfully represented a major Bank at mediations between the Bank and company directors to resolve disputes arising from corporate insolvencies. 

Gordon is recognised for his specialist knowledge in the restructuring and insolvency sector, for his “pragmatic, problem-solving approach” and for his focus on delivering the right result for his clients.
