Jennifer Antonelli trained with Semple Fraser and has been with the firm for almost 9 years.  She is extremely experienced in all fields of insolvency, and her experience has been cemented by her attainment of the Joint Insolvency Examination Board accreditation in December 2007. 

This accreditation is required by Insolvency Practitioners before they can undertake insolvency appointments, and the standard required to obtain it is high.  In gaining this award, Jennifer demonstrated that she is well versed, both technically and practically, in insolvency law, practice and procedure.

Jennifer has been involved in a number of high profile insolvencies and advises on a variety of insolvency issues.  She is experienced in the full range of insolvency appointments on both the corporate and personal side including liquidation, receivership, administration and sequestration.  She acts for Insolvency Practitioners and creditors in putting the appointments in place and providing valuable advice both pre and post-appointment.  Jennifer has experience in assisting Insolvency Practitioners with the sale of the insolvent business and/or assets.

Jennifer has been involved in a variety of court procedures arising out of insolvency and has a great deal of experience in both the Sheriff Court and the Court of Session.

Jennifer also acts for lenders in both contentious and non-contentious matters, particularly in undertaking security reviews.
