Director

Kirsteen Milne joined Semple Fraser in 2002 and is a Director with over 7 years' specialist experience in the construction industry.  She is a dual qualified lawyer and advises developers and consultants throughout the UK on all aspects of construction work, both contentious and non contentious.  Kirsteen is experienced in drafting Consultant’s Appointments, Building Contracts and Collateral Warranties and acts for consultants, contractors, sub-contractors, developers and banks.

She also has considerable experience in the area of Health & Safety, often advising clients in this important area.  She regularly presents to industry on the key topics including the proposed changes to the CDM Regulations and the anticipated effect of these changes, the Corporate Manslaughter and Corporate Homicide Act 2007 and the Health and Safety (Offences) Act 2008.

Kirsteen is a member of the Society of Construction Law and a member of the Adjudication Society as well as being an Associate of CIArb (Chartered Institute of Arbitrators). 

She has also recently passed with distinction a Masters Degree in Construction Law.

A Director is an internal senior promoted post but is not a member or partner of the LLP.
