Director

Lisa Tye is an English qualified specialist planning lawyer.  She began her legal career in local government, qualifying in 1996, before moving into private practice in 2002.

Lisa has a range of experience of both contentious and non-contentious planning, and advises on all aspects of planning law including compulsory purchase, litigation, highways, planning agreements and obligations, across both the public and private sectors.  She has acted on a large number of complex regeneration projects and town centre redevelopment schemes.

Her local government experience has given her an in-depth understanding of how the public sector operates within a strict regulatory framework, and the challenges that can arise in relation to public policy and politically sensitive issues, particularly in relation to controversial developments.

Lisa has advised property developers, investors, regional development agencies and local authorities on multi-million pound development and regeneration projects throughout England, including substantial mixed-use schemes, business parks, leisure and residential developments.
