Marc Armstrong joined the firm in 2004, undertaking a specialist commercial litigation traineeship. Since qualifying, Marc has undertaken further study and is qualified as a solicitor in England.
Marc has experience in dealing with disputes between landlords and tenants, contractual disputes and other commercial actions, both at the Court of Session and Sheriff Courts throughout Scotland. He has experience of appearing in those actions himself as well as instructing and working with senior and junior counsel.
Marc has a particular interest and expertise in licensing law. Over the last 18 months he has overseen the transition of Semple Fraser’s liquor licensing clients to the new regime under the Licensing (Scotland) Act 2005.
