Semple Fraser present at high profile international oil and gas conference
Vincent Brown, Head of Environment and Pollution Law at Semple Fraser, presented to an international audience of oil and gas industry technical experts at a high profile "Asset Management in Oil, Gas & Petrochemicals" conference in London last week.
Vincent is a recognised expert in his field and is the author of textbook, Environment Liability in Commercial Transactions, commissioned by Butterworths Tolley, which provides a clear account of EU, UK and Scottish environmental regulations.
Vincent presented on "EU and International regulation of offshore oil rig operations and decommissioning" at the technical conference.
At the two-day conference, industry discussed key issues such as establishing an effective framework for optimal management of oil and gas assets and how to avoid potential pitfalls and apply optimum mitigation techniques.
