Identified as a leading individual for planning by Chambers legal directory where peers say she "is straightforward and direct, and puts a lot of effort into responses”, Sarah is one of few solicitors who is a dually qualified lawyer and chartered town planner, retaining Membership of the Royal Town Planning Institute. Her background ensures she is well versed, both technically and practically, to the full range of social, political and economic issues surrounding a development project.

She advises across the broad spectrum of the firm's developer clients including those in the retail, commercial, leisure, residential, education, transport, renewables, energy and waste sectors.
Sarah often writes and speaks on planning matters to a wide range of audiences and also sits on the Law Society of Scotland's Planning Law Sub Committee.
