Simon Wallwork joined Semple Fraser in 2011 from Pannone where he was former Head of the Corporate Department. He is based in Semple Fraser’s Manchester office.
With over 20 years experience advising on acquisitions, disposals, private equity and public market transactions, for a wide variety of clients including public and private companies, banks, venture capital funds and partnerships, Simon also has considerable client side experience spending a number of years working in-house with Pilkington plc where he was involved in a number of cross border transactions.
In addition to general corporate advising, Simon specialises in the Renewables & Energy, Digital Economy and Life Sciences sectors. He has spent over 10 years building up expertise in every area affecting these industries – from knowledge of industry specific regulation and contractual law to associated trends and issues – and has acted for large industry corporates such as Windpower Wales Plc, Lectus Therapeutics Ltd, Amaze Plc and BiOxyDyn Ltd (biomedical start up of the year 2010).
