GRADUATE PROGRAMME

We have a reputation for offering high quality legal training.  Our graduate training programme has been designed to give you the best possible start to your legal career.  Over your two-year training period, we will put all the measures in place to ensure you are fully supported in your aim of becoming a successful commercial lawyer.

Our approach to traineeships is different from the norm.  Our trainees are recruited with a view to pursuing a career in a particular area of the law.  So, typically, you will spend at least half of your training period in your specialist area, with the balance spent training in areas of law which complement your chosen specialism.

Our experience shows that this approach provides tangible benefits for trainees and the firm, giving you the opportunity to major straight away on a specific area of the law, and enabling you to get experience at a level that you would otherwise have to wait for until you qualified.

What all of our trainees will experience in common will be the opportunity to develop their skills and get involved in complex work early on, supported by a range of formal in-house training on legal practice and business and commercial awareness.  Plus, you will be assigned a trained mentor from day one to support and guide you.  Regular appraisals and feedback come as standard.
